Furia – Indeco at the World Offshore Sailing Championships

First of all, thank you. To our sponsors: Indeco Group, Remec srl, Med Sailing Services, Italy Yachts, Quantum Sails; to the yachtowner Mauro Vitulano; and finally to the whole Furia Sailing Team. It was an exhilaratingly exhausting learning experience that left us with a myriad of unforgettable memories. We were up against some of the world’s top names on the offshore sailing scene. We gave our utmost and we believe we got as much as we could have hoped for, given the light breezes (always hovering around the six knot mark) that greeted us almost every race day. These conditions definitely did no favours for our wonderful thoroughbred yacht, which being heavier would have benefited from some stronger breezes. In any case, we’re confident that we’ll be all the stronger and more united for the experience and that next time round we’ll be able to improve on this year’s results.
