An ISS 45/90 wins over New York

An ISS 45/90 shear, the largest of the Indeco range, has been toiling away in the New York borough of Queens since last Saturday in a project to demolish the Kosciuszko Bridge.

The ISS 45/90 was supplied to contractors Breeze Demolition, one of the most important in New York, known also for some of the Big Apple’s high-profile demolitions, including Shea Stadium and the Hotel Dorset.

Breeze put the shear to work immediately, and the ISS 45/90 lived up to expectations, paying off in its exceptional cutting force even when tackling larger structural elements in thicknesses up to 2 inches. The attachment will be working on site for the next three months.
